Meet the Staff
Kathy Unruh is our office manager. She was raised in the Carson Valley and graduated from Douglas High School. She married Dr Unruh in 1986. She graduated from University of Nevada Reno with a bachelor degree in Speech Pathology. She has been working with Dr Unruh since 1998. Kathy enjoys camping, hiking and boating with her family.
Kerry Nollsch is one of our hygienists. She has been practicing dental hygiene in Northern Nevada for nearly 14 years and has worked alongside Dr Unruh since 2007. She was born in New Jersey and moved to Carson City at age 2 where she grew up and graduated from Carson High School. She began her career in dentistry as a dental assistant then went on to attend Truckee Meadows Community College earning her degree in dental hygiene and graduating at the top of her class. Outside the dental office Kerry pursues other goals in fitness and entrepreneurship as well. She trains hard in the gym and has placed in the top 5 in several figure competitions. She is also partnered with a leading anti-aging company and is building a successful home-based business. In her spare time she enjoys camping, water skiing, and traveling with her husband, Shane, and son, Tristan.
Kristy Spotts is Dr Unruh’s assistant. She was born and raised in the Carson Valley. She started her dental career in 2013 and has worked with Dr Unruh since that time. Prior to dental assisting, she was a successful nail technician. When away from the office her time is filled with her husband, kids and surrounding family in the area camping and enjoying summertime activities that include sunshine.
Alyssa Unruh works at the front desk and as a dental assistant when needed. She grew up in the Carson Valley and is Dr Unruh’s daughter. Alyssa has worked at the office for 5 years. She is going to school and would like to do something in the medical field. Her hobbies include hiking, running, camping, and being outdoors. She is also the proud owner of our therapy dog, Titan.
Titan is our Therapy Dog. He is a black lab and is registered with Inter-Mountain Therapy Animals. He has worked with the reading program at the local library and assists and greets patients as they arrive.
